Jim Fennell

Jim Fennell (James M.), 73, of North St. Paul, Minnesota, passed away April 18, 2024, at M Health Fairview, St. John’s hospital in Maplewood, due to health complications.

Jim was born September 23, 1950, in Benson, to Ward and JoAnn (Gilronan) Fennell.  He was a 1968 graduate of Benson High School.

Jim is survived by his son, Jonathan Fennell, of North St. Paul; sister, Patricia (Patrick) Meger, of Maricopa AZ; sister, Maridee Eide, of The Villages, FL; brother, Chuck (Pam) Fennell, of Marshall; brother, Tony (Judy) Fennell of Ft Myers, FL; sister, Helen Mansur, of The Villages, FL; sister, Beth Johnson, of The Villages, FL; brother, Tom (Beth) Fennell, of Sauk Rapids; sister, Celeste (Randy) Nelson, of Apollo Beach, FL; sister, Maria (Duane) Schlieman, of Fuquay-Varina, NC; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ward and JoAnn Fennell; and his brother-in-law, Vern Eide.

A Celebration of Life was held in St. Paul.

Burial will be 1 p.m. Monday, May 6 at the St. Francis Cemetery in Benson.
