Notice is hereby given that the City of Benson Minnesota, will receive sealed bids until 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 6, 2019, for a process to crush excess bituminous/asphalt material located at 230 Hwy. 9 NE, Benson, MN as follows:
 
PROVIDE CRUSHING EQUIPMENT AND PREPARE
SALVAGE CONCRETE MATERIAL TO MEET
CLASS 6 MN/DOT
STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION
MATERIALS SECTION 3138
 
The Bidder shall be responsible for actual volume of material and bid accordingly.
The Bidder shall be responsible to certify scale or method of measurement. The estimated volume of material is 18,500 cubic yards or 25,000 Ton.
The Bidder shall submit the bid on the proposal form provided by the Public Works Department. All bids are to be sealed and addressed to the Public Works Director, City Hall, 1410 Kansas Avenue, Benson, MN 56215, and the envelope(s) shall be addressed as per the provisions of the proposal form. All bids shall include a certificate of insurance.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to enter into such contract as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City.
