Linda L. Stauffacher

Benson, Minnesota – Linda L. Stauffacher, age 68, died on Sunday morning at the Meadow Lane Nursing Home in Benson. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 7 at 2:00 p.m. at the Word Fellowship Church in Appleton. Visitation will be held on Thursday April 6 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson and will continue for one hour prior to the funeral at the church on Friday. Zniewski Funeral Home of Benson is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Linda Stauffacher was born on May 11, 1948 in Benson, Minnesota, the daughter of Edward and Mable (Hanson) Gunderson. She grew up in Benson and graduated from Benson High School. She attended Nurses college in Willmar and worked for a time at the St. Could Hospital as an Emergency Room Nurse and then worked as an LPN at Meadow Lane Health Care Center for several years. She was a member of the V. F. W. auxiliary and the Word Fellowship Church in Appleton. She enjoyed reading and traveling and she loved Lake Superior and Minnesota History. She was called from this life on Sunday morning, April 2, 2017 at the Meadow Land Health Care Center in Benson. She attained the age of 68 years 10 months and 22 days.
Linda is survived by her son Dave (Sydney) Stauffacher of Marietta, Georgia; her grandson Joshua Stauffacher; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Blessed be her memory.
