Architect Paul Youngquist toured the building prior to the meeting and stated it’s a nice size space, 116’ x 120’, with a nice high ceiling for a variety of recreation activities.  The cost to prepare it will depend on how fancy it’s made and what type of flooring is needed for various activities. Paul will come up with options before having a building inspector view the space for recommendations and code update requirements and present those cost options to the board.
Paul Youngquist presented options and costs for improvements for the Jr. High Auditorium.  A structural analysis will be done July 10th on the roof and foundation.  The Facilities Task Force recommended maintaining the buildings, so Paul will have more accurate numbers after the structural analysis is done.
