Saints fall to Kimball in opener
 

The KMS volleyball team opened up the season with a 3-1 loss at home to Kimball Area, Friday night in the Kerkhoven gym.
The Saints also ended the 2016 season against Kimball, losing to the Cubs in the Section 5A Tourney semifinals in four games.
“Overall, it was a good start,” KMS head coach Joquel Molenaar said.  “We definitely didn’t play clean; had lots of unforced errors on our part, which killed our momentum throughout each game and made it more difficult to win.  If we clean up our game and find a way to score, this will be a strong volleyball team.”
The Saints lost several key starters from last year’s team, but does return a good........
