Tennis team opens up season with 2-2 record

The Benson-KMS girls tennis team opened up the season last week with a 2-2 record.  The Fighting Braves, coming off a 16-3 season from a year ago, opened up the new season with a 4-3 loss at NLS last Tuesday.
Benson-KMS was supposed to open up the season last Monday with a home triangular, but that event was rained out and a new date has not been set yet.
The Fighting Braves did host a triangular, Thursday, shutting out Morris Area in one match, 7-0, but also losing the other to Annandale by the same score.
The week came to a close with a 6-1 win at Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa, Friday.........
