Three local students are having a lot of success with the Minnesota S.W.A.T. baseball teams, which includes players from around the west central area.

Patrick Minchow and Sam Lenarz, of Benson, are members of the 16U team, coached by past Major League player Mike Kingery and Todd Reid, which recently placed first at the Triple Crown Sports Tournament at Kansas City, MO.

In addition, Isaac Minchow is a member of the 15U Minnesota S.W.A.T. purple team, coached by Rich Schieck and David Kingery, which placed second at the Triple Crown Tournament.

The 16U team had to win five games at Kansas City, winning in the finals, 2-0, while the 15U team played six games, losing in the championship game, 3-0.

All three players won huge rings, similar to what winners of the Super Bowl (minus the diamonds) win each year...
