The Morris-Benson Area girls hockey team picked up its first win of the season with a 3-2 victory at Park Rapids, Saturday night.  The Lady Storm fell behind 1-0 after one period, but Taryn Picht scored two goals and Kortney Sanasack had one goal to put MBA up 3-1 before PR scored once more with 2:48 left in the game.

The Lady Storm also lost at Minnesota River last Saturday, 12-1, and at River Lakes last Tuesday, 13-0, putting the team’s record at 1-3 through the first two weeks of the season.

This week, MBA was set to play at Litchfield-DC, Tuesday (yesterday) before playing in a tournament at Marshall, Friday and Saturday.

The next home game is set for Saturday, Dec. 1 against Windom...
