Nancy Kay (Wrobleski) Emmert

June 12, 1963 - December 14, 2018

Nancy Kay Emmert, 55, of Dawson, Minnesota died Friday, December 14, 2018, at the Prairie Lakes Hospital in Watertown, South Dakota.  Visitation was held Wednesday, December 19, from 5-7 p.m. at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church in Benson and continued from 10-11 a.m.  Thursday at the church. Funeral services were held Thursday, December 20, at 11 a.m. at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Benson.

Nancy Kay Emmert was born June 12, 1963, in Benson, Minnesota, the daughter of Leo and Roberta Wrobleski. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Francis Catholic Church. She grew up in Benson and attended Benson schools.

December 31, 2009, Nancy was united in marriage to Robert Emmert. She worked as a bartender at the Goose Bar in Watson and for the Clontarf Pub. She worked as a CNA at the Nursing Home in Morris and also at Jenni-O Foods in Montevideo.

She enjoyed fishing and spending time at the cabin on the lake. Nancy loved spending time with her grandchildren.   

She is survived by her three sons: Travis Wrobleski of Dawson, Bradley (Donna) Olson of Benson and Robert (Krystal Peterson) Olson of Benson; eight grandchildren: Shawn Paisley, Drake, Kylie, Savannah, Colten, Corey, Mya, and Hunter; her mother Roberta of Willmar; her siblings: Jerry (Patty) Wrobleski of Willmar, LeRoy (Alice) Wrobleski of Hartland, Deb (Ed) Kill of Santan Valley, Arizona, Joyce (Greg) Hanenburg of Edgerton; ex-husband Robert Emmert of Dawson; and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Leo, a brother David, and two brothers in infancy, and first husband Randy Olson. Blessed be her memory.

Arrangements were with Zniewski Funeral Home.
