Prairie Centre hands Storm 9-3 defeat

The MBA boys had its two-game winning streak snapped by Prairie Centre during a 9-3 loss, Thursday night at the Lee Community Center in Morris.

PC took a 3-0 lead after one period and 9-0 after two before MBA scored its three goals in the final period.

MBA fell to 3-4 overall with the loss.  Next up for the Storm is the Benson Tournament, Thursday (tomorrow) and Friday.  MBA is set to face Fairmont at 5 p.m., Thursday with Mayville-Portland and Prairie Centre playing in another semifinal game at 3 p.m.

The two losers are set to play at 1 p.m., Friday in Benson and the two winners play in the title game at 3 p.m...
