Redwood Valley edges Benson girls, 56-50

Claire Ricard is having a great season for the Braves, scoring in double figures for Benson in each of the first seven games.

The Benson girls basketball team lost a close game with Redwood Valley, 56-50 in a game played Thursday night in Benson.  The Cardinals edged the Braves by three points in each half, 27-24 and 29-26.

Benson, which was also supposed to host ACGC, Friday, fell to 2-6 overall with the loss.  The Braves, who are 0-3 in the conference, have 13 days off after the game with the Falcons to prepare for a Thursday, Jan. 3 game at Prinsburg CMCS...
