The KMS boys basketball team lost for the third-straight time, Friday, Dec. 21, losing at Lac qui Parle Valley, 72-66.  It was the second-straight close loss for the Saints, who also fell to RCW at home three nights earlier, 65-62.

“It was another tough one, but on a different note,” coach Matt Fragodt said.  “We lead for most of the game, but had a few mental breakdowns.  I think some of our youth showed up late in the game and LQP got into our heads a little.  It is also a really tough place to play.  We played hard and gave LQP all it could handle; I just wish we had the last five minutes back.”

KMS, which fell to 3-3 overall and 2-2 in the Camden North Conference, was set to play in the Windom Area Tournament, Friday and Saturday.  The Saints won both games last year at Windom to earn the four-team title...
