The Benson boys basketball team lost a 65-41 decision at Sauk Centre, Thursday night, lowering the Braves’ record to 4-13 overall and 3-8 in the WCC.  The Braves were also scheduled to host KMS last Tuesday night, but that game was postponed due to weather and a makeup date has not been set.

The Braves trailed only 34-23 at halftime against the Mainstreeters, but Benson scored just 18 points in the second half.  During the earlier meeting between the two teams, Benson lost a high-scoring game 80-65.

Benson has three games scheduled for this week beginning with a game at home against Lakeview, Monday, another home game, Tuesday (yesterday) against Melrose, and a game at Minnewaska Area, Friday...
