Kallstrom earns four firsts at YME Invitational

The Benson-KMS track and field teams both placed second at the YME Invitational, Thursday night in Granite Falls.  LQP-DB won both titles, but both competitions were very close as the Eagles edged the Fighting Braves by 1.5 points in the girls meet and by 32 points in the boys competition.

Brandon Kallstrom, Brady Ascheman, and Claire Ricard led the Benson-KMS track teams.  Kallstrom won four events (100 and 200 meter dashes, long jump, and triple jump), while Ascheman was first in the 800 and second in the 1600, and Ricard won the 300 hurdles and pole vault.

This week, Benson-KMS was set to compete at the WCC Track Meet at BOLD, Tuesday (yesterday).  The sub-section meet is set for Thursday, May 23 at Morris Area...
