Dale Robert Schuck passed away Friday, May 24, 2019, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Rochester, Minnesota, with his wife Myra and his daughters at his side.

A Memorial Service was held Monday, June 3, 2019 at Mahn Family Funeral Home - Mahler Chapel in Pine Island from 5-7 p.m.

Dale was born February 8, 1943, to Robert and Arlene Schuck. He and his sister, Lois Haugen, were raised by their grandparents, Ernest & Ella Schuck, in the rural Zumbrota area. He graduated from Zumbrota High School in 1961.

Dale and Myra were married  November 23, 1963. They made their home in the Pine Island area until 1976 when they, with their daughters, moved to rural Clontarf, Minnesota. In the fall of 2016, Dale and Myra moved to Mazeppa to be near their girls.

Throughout his life, Dale worked installing milking equipment, farming and truck driving. He retired from Chamberlain Oil Company in 2008.  Dale would not shy away from or turn down the opportunity to work on any type of machine or project that came up. He was always available and willing to help friends and neighbors. In his self limited leisure time, Dale enjoyed fishing and was happiest when outside. He hated to be cooped up in a building for very long. Dale relished his times of solitude and peace, specifically with his beloved dog Tasha.
