Rudningen, Call among KMS leaders

Dylan Rudningen batted .392 to tie for the best average and also led KMS with an on-base percentage of .515.

The KMS baseball team recently released its 2019 statistics from the recently-completed season. 

The Saints went 21-4 overall this year, placing fourth at the State Class A Baseball Tournament. 

KMS opened up the state tourney with a 10-0 victory over Randolph, but then lost a heartbreaker to BOLD in the semifinals, 7-6 in eight innings, before ending the season with a 13-3 loss to Sacred Heart in the third-place game. 

BOLD went on to earn the Class A state title with an 8-0 victory over New York Mills last week at the Target Center.

This year’s state tournament appearance was the third in school history for the baseball program.  The Saints also advanced to state in 1991 and 2000...
