The meeting was called to order at 5:31 p.m. by Chair Brian Samuelson.  Members present:  Paul Carruth,  Mary Langan, Bill McGeary, Jim Berens, Eric Peterson, Brian Samuelson and Gary Williams.
Approved agenda with addition of July 15, 2019 Regular School Board Meeting minutes.
Mark Hughes presented several questions under Citizens Comments.
Approved consent agenda.
Progress Reports were presented by the administrators.
Approved base flooring bid for Northside bid package from MCI in the amount of $105,400 and Alternate #2 ($17,400) and Alternate #3 ($20,200).
Ryan Breitbach, CM, presented a construction update stating soil correction is nearly complete and contaminated soil and water will be hauled off site after permits are received. Northside ground breaking ceremony is August 27 at 2:00 p.m.
Discussion was held on Board Goals and will continue at a work session in early October.
The board reviewed Series 100 board policies which requires one change according to MSBA policies update. First reading, no action required.
Motion to approve the property/liability insurance coverage for the 2019-2020 school year policy without terrorism insurance in the amount of $55,414.77. Discussion took place regarding building replacement costs. The board rescinded the previous motion to reconsider at a later date. Discussion to provide additional information on liability cost, sq. ft. cost for building replacement, state average of other districts, deductible/incident and liability cost/million before a decision is made.
