Five earn WCC honors for Benson-KMS girls tennis team

Four members of the Benson-KMS girls tennis team earned All-Conference this season and another was named to the honorable mention squad.

The Benson-KMS girls tennis team had its season end at the Section 6A Individual Tennis Tournament.  The Fighting Braves did not advance anyone past the first two rounds and the Benson-KMS team was also eliminated with a 4-3 loss to Lac qui Parle/Dawson-Boyd in the Section 6A quarterfinals.

Competing at the individual tourney were Stacy Johnson and Elise Duncan in singles (both of those players fell in the round-of-16), and Halle Bundy and Kaitlyn Berreau, and Susan Knutson and Hannah Andrews in doubles.  Bundy and Berreau also lost a close first-round match, while Knutson and Andrews, seeded fourth, won their first match in three sets, but then lost in three sets in the next round to the fifth seeds...
