The Benson boys lost twice last week, dropping the Braves’ overall record to 14-9 heading into the home stretch of the season.  The Braves beat Yellow Medicine East last Monday night at home, 70-66, but then lost at home to Melrose last Tuesday, 68-51, and to Morris Area, Thursday, 80-70.

The two losses gave Benson a 5-6 record in its last 11 games after the Braves were 9-3, Jan. 9.

He joins Aaron Lindahl (1,658 points), Daniel Fragodt (1,466), Adam Jensen (1,330), Sam Peterson (1,315), Layton Connelly (1,152), and Jacob Fahl (1,126) in the 1,000-point boys’ list at BHS...
