The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Chair Brian Samuelson at Northside Elementary for a tour of the new construction.
Meeting recessed at 5:20 p.m.
The meeting resumed at the BHS Media Center at 5:31 p.m. by Chair Brian Samuelson.  Members present:  Jim Berens, Mary KW Langan, Eric Peterson, Bill McGeary, Brian Samuelson and Gary Williams arrived at 5:33 p.m.  Members absent:  None.
No Additions to the Agenda.

Consent Agenda approved.
Progress Reports presented by the administrators.
Ryan Brietbach, Construction Manager, provided a detailed update including a financial update with cost impacts at Northside Elementary and the High School.
Gymnastics/Activity Space:  The committee recommends a stand-alone building 144’ x 82’ on the lot just north of the high school. Ryan Breitbach stated the preliminary cost came in at $1,497,000.  Supervision costs were pulled out since they are already here for the high school construction project. Bleachers, multi-use playable floor and storage areas are not included in the total cost, however, there is space for portable seating up to 500. Tax impacts were also presented.
Series 200 Policies approved based on changes recommended by MSBA to meet law.
Resolution Authorizing Bond Issuance and Election:  The board passed a resolution to request to voters that the district have the authority to sell bonds not to exceed $1,500,000 which includes the ballot language contained with the resolution and the district to hold a special election on April 14, 2020.
FY20 Budget Revision approved as presented.
Kindergarten Proposal:  A proposal to have a two day student/family conference for kindergarten students at the beginning of the school year and revise the 2020-2021 School Calendar was approved as presented.
The board members were provided a Superintendent Evaluation Form to complete for mid-year evaluation.
Donations Approved:  $500 from VFW Auxiliary for Snack & Lunch Program Angel Fund; $1,500 from Eileen Vogel Sytsma for Agnes & Esther Olson Scholarship; $100 from Toni Lindstrom for Kevin Lindstrom Scholarship; $170 from Mightycause Charitable Foundation for Heartland Girls Ranch School; $1,800 from Scott & Susan Shisler for Mary Lou Terwilliger Scholarship; $50 from Bill & Jan Luzum for Open Gym Sponsor; $500 from Rose Anne Petersen for Tom Petersen Scholarship; $20,000 from Jennings Larson (Insurance Marketing Concepts) for Larson Family Scholarships; $500 from Cherly Froehlich for Class of 1949 Scholarship; $41 from Ridley USA-Hubbard Feeds Donation Match for FFA; $500 from Swift County ADA for FFA; $200 from Michael Abbott for Dody Fuchs Abbott Scholarship; $82.39 from CNH  Industrial America, LLC for Northside Elementary Auxiliary Fund.
