Swift County saw 14 more cases of the potentially deadly COVID-19 disease in August including one in the assisted living and memory care facility Scandi Haven Village. 

That case was identified in mid-August and resulted in some operational changes to ensure no future cases occurred and that the virus did not spread.

Swift County-Benson Health Services tested staff and residents Aug. 17 with the all coming up negative, Chief Nursing Officer Melissa McGinty-Thompson reported to the SCBHS board of governors at their meeting Monday night...
