In-person teaching remains in place in Benson schools

Though COVID-19 cases have been increasing rapidly in Swift County over the past five weeks, with 33 new cases in the past 14 days, Benson Public Schools have not had to change their teaching model.
As of Friday, Benson Schools has had nine students test positive but no staff members, Supt. Dennis Laumeyer informed parents of students in a letter last Friday.
The last positive case in a student was Sept 22, 14 days ago as of Tuesday. Fourteen days is the recommended quarantine period for those exposed to COVID-19...
