Tennis team falls twice to finish fourth in WCC

The Benson-KMS girls tennis team opened up the WCC Team Tournament with a 4-3 loss at league champion Montevideo last Tuesday night.  The two teams did not play during the regular-season as Montevideo opened up the school year with distance learning, meaning the Sept. 3 scheduled contest between the two teams was canceled.

Montevideo went on to win this year’s WCC title, followed by Minnewaska Area, Morris Area/WCA, and Benson-KMS.

With the loss to Montevideo, Benson-KMS played Morris Area/WCA in the third-place match at Morris Thursday, losing by a 4-3 margin...
