The City of Appleton is accepting bids for the demolition of city owned residential properties. Information about the properties to be demolished is available on the City of Appleton website under the procurement link at:
     www.appletonmn.com or in person.
  Bids must be delivered to the City of Appleton, 323 West Schlieman Ave, Appleton, MN 56208 no later than 3:00 pm, February 15, 2021. Responsible bidders will provide proof of licensure to perform demolitions in the State of Minnesota as well as proof of a commercial insurance policy. The City of Appleton reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder offering the lowest price pursuant to Minn.Stat. § 471.345. The successful bidder will enter into a formal contract with the City of Appleton. The work must be completed within 30 days of the notice to proceed, or by March 31, 2021. Project scope is not to include hauling and disposal cost as the City will make use of its active Permit By Rule Site.
