When students come to school this fall at the Northside Elementary School and Benson High School, they will be required to have received the state-mandated vaccinations.

Earlier this month, the District 777 Board of Education voted to enforce the required vaccinations as stipulated by the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH.)

The COVID-19 vaccine is not required to attend schools at this time since it has not yet been officially approved by the Food and Drug Administration. It currently has emergency use authorization with more than 340 million doses administered. So far, 163 million Americans are fully vaccinated against the deadly disease...
