Jim Lee of Bloomington, Minnesota (formerly of Benson) died December 15, 2021 at the age of 74 at the V.A. Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  
The celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 8, 2022 at McKinney’s on Southside in Benson from 1-3 p.m. A private burial, at Fort Snelling, will be held at a later date.
Jim was born to Clarence and Catherine Lee and has an identical twin brother Jerome Allen Lee.  He graduated from Benson High School in 1965. Jim lost his long battle of lung cancer caused by agent orange while serving the US Navy during the Vietnam war on the U.S.S. St. Paul.  He served as a radioman communication specialist on the ship.  Jim proudly served his country.  Jim worked in electronics and in the music business for most of his life.  He was a very gifted musician and had the opportunity, while living in Branson, MO, to play with many headlining artists. Jim and his wife Denia enjoyed camping in their Airstream camper for several years.  Jim donated his body to the U of M for research.
Jim is survived by his loving wife Denia of 17 years; his brothers: Jerry (friend Sylvia) Lee of New London, Tom and Marilyn Lee of Benson; his sons: Michael and Chimene Lee of New London, Travis and Carol Lee of Brainerd; daughter Dustie and Josh Rabel of Dickens, IA and grandchildren,  great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
