The Swift County Board of Commissioners does hereby give notice of the Intent to Adopt the Swift County Ordinance Regulating Solar Power Energy. A public hearing is being held on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 10:45 a.m. in the Commissioner’s Room, Lower Level of the Swift County Courthouse, 301 14th St. No., Benson, MN to consider the following:

The Swift County Solar Power Ordinance is for the purpose of establishing the processes for permitting solar energy systems and to regulate the installation and operation of solar energy systems within Swift County.

A complete copy of the ordinance is available on the Swift County website and a paper copy is available at the Swift County Environmental Services office located at 1000 Industrial Drive, Benson, MN.  

All persons interested may appear and be heard at said time and place.

RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF CLONTARF

RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF CLONTARF

BE IT RESOLVED that the Clontarf City Council has declared the sewer maintenance fee will be raised from $17/month to $20/month as of Oct. 1, 2018.

FURTHER RESOLVED the Clontarf City Council declares that all sewer maintenance fees for 2019 and forward will be assessed to property taxes in the City of Clontarf for all properties with sewer hook-ups. This amount will be $240 per unit for 2019.

FURTHER RESOLVED the Clontarf City Council will be reinstating the garbage assessment for garbage pick-up .  This will begin in 2019 and go forward.  Garbage assessment amount will be based on the size of garbage can you have with the smallest being $185, the middle size $220, and the largest $260 for the year.
