Swift County Parks, Drainage & Wetlands Office will be accepting bids until 3:00 PM on April 15th, 2020 for tile line repair.  Option #1; Approximately 1,500 lineal feet of 15” tile and approximately 1,500 lineal feet 12“plastic tile with sock or sand slot tile, two outlets and one connection.  Tile to be installed with a tile plow.  Option #2 1500 lineal feet 18” plastic tile with sock or sand slot.

MINUTES OF THE REGULAR SCHOOL BOARD MEETING INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 777, Benson, Minnesota Monday, February 10, 2020 - 5:30 p.m. Benson High School Media Center

The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Chair Brian Samuelson.  Members present:  Jim Berens, Mary KW Langan, Eric Peterson, Brian Samuelson, Paul Carruth and Gary Williams.  Members absent:  Bill McGeary.
No Additions to the Agenda.
Agenda approved.
No Citizens Comments.
Consent Agenda approved.
Progress Reports presented by administrators.
Ryan Brietbach, Construction Manager, provided a construction and budget update.  Discussed moving the gas meters outside of the building. The board approved the relocation of the gas meters outside of the building as recommended.
Gymnastics/Activity Space:  Supt. Laumeyer reported on several items regarding the gymnastics/activity space.  The board approved to sell bonds for 15 years for the $1.5 million activity space.
BHS Registration Guide 2020-2021: This is the first reading.

Notice is hereby given that the Chippewa/Swift Joint Board of Commissioners, acting as Drainage Authority for Joint Ditch # 3 and Joint Ditch #8, will meet on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. in the Commissioners Room of the Chippewa County Courthouse located at 629 North 11th Street, in Montevideo, Minnesota, to consider the permit to Swenoda Dairy for installation of a manure pipeline that crosses the open ditch and tiles of Joint Ditch # 3 and Joint Ditch #8 in Chippewa and Swift Counties.  All persons interested in these proceedings are invited to attend this hearing.

NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING

Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Six Mile Grove Twp., County of Swift, and State of Minnesota, that the annual town meeting will be held Tuesday, March 10 at the town hall located in Sec. 29. The annual meeting will commence at 6 p.m. to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law.  The township elections will now be held in November along with the general election by mail ballot.  In case of inclement weather the meeting may be postponed until the third Tuesday in March.
