Benson boys drop games to SC and Swanville

The Benson boys basketball team came close to breaking its losing streak last Thursday at Swanville, but a 39-39 halftime tie turned into a 66-60 loss and the Braves fell to 2-14 overall with their 11th-straight loss.
Earlier in the week, Benson fell to 0-4 in the WCC with a 45-27 home loss to Sauk Centre.
This week, the Braves were set to play at Minnewaska Area, Monday, and the Lakers go into the game with a 12-game losing streak, meaning one of the teams will break a long losing streak.
Benson is also set to play at Sauk Centre, Thursday (tomorrow) before taking a week off to prepare for a game with undefeated Morris Area, Thursday, Feb. 10.
