Benson boys hoping to turn things around before start of playoffs

The Benson boys dropped two WCC games last week at Minnewaska Area last Monday night, 65-49, and at Sauk Centre, Thursday, 67-50.
The Braves fell to 2-16 overall and 0-6 in the conference with the two defeats.  And, this week’s game will provide a very tough obstacle for Benson as it tries to break a current 13-game losing streak.
Benson is set to host Morris Area-CA, Thursday, for its only game this week.  The Tigers are undefeated this season, are ranked third in state Class AA, and are the defending Section 3AA champions.
After that, there are only three weeks left in the regular-season before the Braves commence with commence with the Section 6A playoffs Monday, March 7.
