Benson shooters earn three top-10s at State
The Benson trap shooting team competed in the Minnesota State High School Clay Target League Championship in Alexandria June 17. Those competing included: front, Coltan Hoberg; middle row, Drake Thole, Nolan Smith, Connor Larson, Blake Razink, William Moe, Elwin Knutson, Kael Cluever, Piper Gades, Paige Moe, Ava Klassen, Grace Nagler and Baylee Staton; and back row, coach Adam Fahje, coach Neal Klassen, Alex Carlson, Anthony Aeikens, Kade Schilling, Haden Thole, Kale Wrobleski, Landon Skarsten, John McGee, Dylan Sanders, Austin Fahje, Blake Larson and coach Andy Abner.
The Benson trap shooting team completed their 2026 Minnesota State High School Clay Target League season at the world’s largest trap shooting championship in Alexandria June 17. Across three different divisions, the Benson team finished the day with three top-10s, including Ava Klassen (varsity), Dylan Sanders (varsity) and Baylee Staton (junior varsity).
