Benson tennis takes one of four duals

While the Benson boys tennis team was able to get out on the courts sporadically for practice, they had been waiting to get into competition action and they jumped head first into the season with four duals in just three days. The team opened at home against Minnewaska April 9 and fell 6-1. The next day, they went on the road to play Montevideo and earned a narrow 4-3 win against the Thunderhawks. Benson also made the trip to Moorhead April 11 and lost 5-2 to East Grand Forks and fell to Moorhead 4-3.
