BOLD stays undefeated while handing Braves third-straight loss

The Benson Braves played a great first half against the state-ranked BOLD Warriors Friday night in Benson, but the Warriors dominated the second half on the way to a 36-9 victory.

Benson trailed just 14-9 and had several chances to score late in the first half.  However, BOLD kept the Braves from scoring, and then outscored Benson 22-0 in the second half.  In fact, Benson had just 16 offensive plays from scrimmage and no first downs in the second half.

The Braves fell to 2-4 with the loss, while BOLD stayed perfect at 6-0 and is tied with Kimball Area for first place in the Mid State 3 sub-district...
