Braves swept in double-header by Atwater-CGC

Four twos can win you a lot of money at Las Vegas, but in the sport of baseball, four twos won’t get you much and that’s what the Benson baseball team found out last week when it scored two runs in all four games it played.  
The results were a doubleheader loss at ACGC (6-2 and 4-2), a pair of losses at the Montevideo Invitational, Friday, to the host Thunderhawks (8-2) and Lakeview (8-2).
The Braves fell to 3-8 overall and 0-7 in the WCC with the four losses heading into another busy week of play this week.  Benson was set to play at Minnewaska, Monday, but that game was pushed back for a second time this spring to May 23.  The Braves had a game with LQP scheduled for May 23, but that game is now canceled.
Weather permitting, the Braves will host BOLD for a doubleheader, Tuesday before entertaining Melrose, Thursday...
