As filings open, Mayor Collins says she isn’t running

Following Benson’s City Council meeting Monday night, Mayor Terri Collins said it was her intention not to run for reelection in November.
Collins was elected to her first term as the Benson mayor in 2017 and was the first woman to serve in that post. She had served as member of the council prior to running for mayor.
