KMS volleyball third at Underwood Tourney

The KMS volleyball team closed out the regular-season with a third-place finish at the Underwood Tournament, Thursday.  The Saints went 1-2 during pool play and then won a tiebreaker to earn a berth in the third-place match, which KMS won over Wheaton/Herman-Norcross in three games.

The Saints finished the regular season with a 7-20 record, going 6-8 over their final 14 matches to end the season on a high note.

The Section 6A Tourney is set to begin this week and the Saints are set to host a preliminary round match, Monday.  KMS earned the seventh seed in its sub-section and was set to host 10th-seeded Ashby (2-25) at 7 p.m., Monday with the winner moving on to face second-seeded Wheaton-HN at 7 p.m., Wednesday (tonight) in the sub-section quarterfinals...
