KMS wrestling finish second as a team at Braves Classic

Trey Gunderson won the 133-pound bracket for KMS at the Braves Classic in Benson Dec. 29.
The Saints wrestling team joined eight other teams at the Braves Classic in Benson Dec. 30. KMS finished the meet in second place as a team and had two wrestlers win their weight brackets, Trey Gunderson and Owen Kidrowski.
The Saints finished second as a team with a total of 201 points. Tracy-Milroy-Balaton won the meet with a score of 226.5.
Gunderson stayed unbeaten on the season, winning the 133-pound bracket. He finished 3-0 with pins in each of the first two matches and a 9-3 decision win in the finals.
Kidrowski was the champion of the heavyweight bracket. He finished with a 3-0 record and recorded pins in all three matches.
KMS also had four wrestlers finish as runner up in their weight classes including Brody VanHeuveln, Colton Noble, Aaron Jones and Collin Johnson.
