Lady Storm top Lake of the Woods for second win

The MBA Lady Storm picked up their second win of the season last Friday at Lake of the Woods, 6-4.  The Lady Storm had scored just eight goals in their first eight games combined before erupting for six goals against Lake of the Woods.
Hanna Lindblad had two goals for MBA, while Hallie Watzke, Emily Walz, Kelsey Rajewsky, and Nicole Berens also scored for the Lady Storm.  MBA improved to 2-7 overall with the win and is also 1-1 in the Southwest Conference.
This week, MBA was set to play at Marshall, Thursday (tomorrow) and at Worthington, Saturday before playing at Detroit Lakes, Tuesday, Jan. 7.   The final five regular-season games for the Lady Storm are at home, including games in Benson Jan. 25 and Jan. 28.
