Marcia Elaine Offerdahl, 71, died Thursday, November 3, 2022, at her home in rural Benson surrounded by family.  Visitation will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Swift Falls from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. immediately followed by the funeral service.  A reception will follow the service in the church basement.  Interment will be held at a later date.
Marcia was born March 28, 1951, in Benson, Minnesota, the daughter of Milo and Esther (Skare) Tostenson.  She grew up in Benson and Swift Falls.  She was baptized in the Christian faith April 29, 1951, at Swift Falls Church.  She was confirmed in the faith April 3, 1966, with Pastor Wm. Heidtke at Swift Falls Church.  She graduated from Benson High School in 1969.  
November 28, 1970, she was united in marriage to James Michael Offerdahl at Our Redeemer’s Church in Benson.  Together they were blessed with 51 years, 11 months, and 25 days of marriage and three lovely children.
They made their home a couple miles west of Benson.  Marcia worked at the ASC office and Fingerhut and selling pull tabs at VFW POST 1403, she helped out her daughter by baking at the Whistle Stop Diner, and as the bookkeeper for their business West Acres Water.  She volunteered her talents by playing the organ for many years at Shepherd of the Hills Church before and after marriage.  She was a member and past president of the VFW POST 1403 Ladies Auxiliary.  She enjoyed puzzles, crocheting, bingo, camping, and spending time with grandchildren.  She attained the age of 71 years, seven months and 25 days.
She is survived by her husband Jim of Benson;  children: Tanya (Dan) Stewart of Benson, Tom (Denise) Offerdahl of Becker, MN, Thea (Jason Slaughter) Vick of Benson; eight grandchildren: Conner, Hannah, Dylan, Sydney, Megan, Tyler, Andy, and Shayla; brother John Tostenson of Willmar, and a sister Julie (Dale) Gorres of Swift Falls; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.  
She is preceded in death by her parents Milo and Esther, and infant brother Mark.  Blessed be her memory.  LYB
