The Morris Benson Area girls hockey team were slated sixth out of seven teams in Section 6A for playoffs, which begin Thursday, Feb. 9. The Storm is scheduled to play No. 3-seeded River Lakes, which is a sponsored cooperative between Rocori, Albany, Eden Valley-Watkins, New London-Spicer, Paynesville, St. John’s Prep and Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa.

“River Lakes will be a tough opponent but never count this team out, these girls are capable of a lot,” MBA’s second-year coach Coleton Anderson said.

The puck drops at 7 p.m. at the Koronis Civic Arena in Paynesville.
