Michael Albert Rosen, 56, of Swift Falls, died Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at his residence in Swift Falls, Minnesota. Visitation will be held Monday, December 16, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Swift Falls, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m
Michael Albert Rosen was born August 10, 1968, the son of Ronald and Constance Fay (Hagen) Rosen, in Benson, Minnesota. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Benson. Mike grew up in Swift Falls, attended elementary school in Benson, and graduated from Benson High School.
Mike lived in Swift Falls and started working at Glacial Plains Cooperative in the tire warehouse as a senior in high school. He continued working there after high school, driving truck and sprayers, and hauling fuel. He had a 37-year career at Glacial Plains.
Mike was a First Responder in Swift Falls. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing volleyball and softball, and sitting around a campfire. He loved the camaraderie of being with others.
Mike was called from this life December 10, 2024, at his residence in Swift Falls. He was 56 years old.
Mike is survived by his children: Nicole Rosen of St. Paul, MN, Zach Rosen of Swift Falls, MN, and Hannah Rosen of Fargo, ND; parents Connie and Paul Flaten; and brother Chad Rosen of Swift Falls. He was preceded in death by his father Ronald Rosen.
