As we enter 2025 two new business buildings in the Benson area, one to the west and another to the east, are making steady progress toward completion.
Along U.S. Highway east just outside the city, Agralite Cooperative’s new headquarters is going up alongside the old office building. “Building on our existing location will allow us to continue to provide improved accessibility for our members and enhance our ability to respond quickly to outages and service calls across our service territory,” Jenny Stryhn, general manager of Agralite Electric Cooperative, said about the project during a groundbreaking ceremony in September.
“This project is about our members and building for success for the next 60 plus years,” she said. “This new headquarters development represents a significant investment in the future of Agralite Electric Cooperative and our commitment to providing reliable, affordable electricity to our members.”
