OHV Park is awarded $1 million ARP grant

The Appleton Area Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Park has been awarded a $1 million federal American Rescue Plan grant to support local tourism and outdoor recreation sector by facilitating improvements to the park.
This grant will construct new park facilities and renovate existing areas to include new restrooms, vehicle wash stations, a beach recreation area, walking trails and signage.
Swift County agreed to contribute $443,227 of its own funds for improvements to the OHV park in order to get the federal grant.
