Olga Lorine Olson, the daughter of Arnt and Annie (Schott) Olson was born May 9, 1936 in Morris, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed at Bethany Lutheran Church, where she also married the love of her life, William "Bill" Marvin Anderson, August 7, 1954.

Olga and Bill made their home in Benson, raising their three children: William, Elizabeth and Dawn. Olga was a dedicated worker, beginning her career in 1967 after raising her young children. She started as a cook at the Benson Truck Stop and a waitress at the Clontarf Supper Club. Her hard work and dedication led her to a supervisor position at Fingerhut, where she worked until its closure in 1976. Olga then transitioned into a new role as a welder at B & H and Lorenz Manufacturing, before finally becoming a supervisor at Future Products, where she remained until her retirement.

In her leisure time, Olga and Bill found joy in the simple pleasures of life. They spent many years camping, fishing, and enjoying the serenity of the lake; from starting out in a tent, then camper and eventually retiring to a lake home on Pelican Lake. They also loved traveling, taking their children on memorable trips to Disneyland and the Black Hills, and later the couple enjoying vacations in Hawaii, Branson, and Las Vegas. Olga had a passion for reading, quilting, bowling, playing cards and jokers and pegs. She cherished time spent with family and friends, especially the playful tradition of exchanging a chicken towel with her granddaughter, Katie, in creative ways. After Bill passed away in 2017, Olga moved to Ridgewood Villa in Glenwood.
