Pagel completes first collegiate football season at NDSCS
Benson alum Joey Pagel made it through his freshman football season at NDSCS this fall.

Benson alum Joey Pagel recently completed his first collegiate football season at North Dakota State College of Science. Pagel recently graduated from Benson High School in 2024 and is continuing his football career as a lineman for the Wildcats.
Pagel played both sides of the ball on the line for the Benson Braves and continued working in the trenches in college. He was a part of a 9-1 football team who were 6-0 in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference, winning the conference title.
As a competitive junior college team, the team played a lot of sophomores throughout the season, but Pagel did get the opportunity to play in one game, which was a 40-0 win over Central Lakes College-Brainerd Oct. 5.
