Roger Allen Mondor 

Roger Allen Mondor was called from this life Saturday afternoon, November 8, 2025, at his daughter’s home in Appleton. He attained the age of 59 years, three months, and nine days of age. 

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 21, 2025, at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church in Benson, Minnesota, followed by the memorial service at 2:00 p.m. Burial in the family plot will occur later in the Saints Nereus and Achilleus Catholic Cemetery in Neche, North Dakota. 

Roger Allen Mondor was born May 8, 1966, in Cavalier, North Dakota, the son of Joseph George and Leona Lupien Mondor. Roger grew up and attended school in the Langdon, North Dakota area. In 1986, Roger moved to Benson. Roger served in the Minnesota National Guard. 

July 30, 1988, Roger was united in marriage to Janil Nordby. This union was blessed with two sons and one daughter. Roger enjoyed trips to the casino and camping. He loved hanging out with his friends and family.  

Roger is survived by his children: Bo (Gisel) Mondor of Willmar, Kristi (Jake) Mondor of Appleton, and Hunter (Brittany) Mondor of Benson; five grandchildren; his siblings: Jon (Susan) Mondor of Langdon, North Dakota, Randy Mondor of Fargo, North Dakota, Deb Dale Benazeski of Rengo, Wisconsin, Diane (Keith) Lindenberg of Napolean, North Dakota, Rita Calmes of Louisiana, Kenneth ( Janet) Mondor of Cavalier, North Dakota, Bonnie (Dean) Christianson of Langdon, North Dakota, and Patty Mondor of  Cavalier, North Dakota, and several other relatives and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents George and Leona Mondor, a grandchild Oakland, his brother Douglas Mondor, a niece Tanya Peterson, and a nephew Derrick Mondor.
