Serious injuries in Sunday head on crash

Icy-road conditions Sunday night may have led to a head-on collision on Highway 29, about four miles north of Glenwood.According to the State Patrol, Kim Blair, 41, of Glenwood and Richard Ostendorf, 57, of Pemberton, sustained serious injuries from the collision. Both were transported to St. Cloud Hospital. Hayley Blair, 19, and Tait Blair, 41, also of Glenwood, sustained minor injuries. 
According to the state patrol information, the 2004 Ford pickup driven by Hayley Blair was heading southbound on Highway 29 when the driver lost control and collided with a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by Ostendorf, that was heading northbound. 
It was reported that none of the Blairs were wearing seatbelts; it was unknown if Ostendorf had been wearing a seatbelt.The state patrol was assisted by the Pope County Sheriff’s Office, Glenwood Police Department, Douglas County Sheriff’s office, Glacial Ridge Ambulance, North Memorial Ambulance and the Glenwood Fire Department.
