Shirley Ann Staton, 79, formerly of Benson, died Friday evening, November 18, 2022, at the Bryan Medical Center, in Lincoln, Nebraska. Visitation will be held Friday, November 25, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson, and will continue Saturday, November 26, 2022, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Willmar, Minnesota, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the St. Francis Catholic Church Cemetery in Benson, Minnesota. 
Shirley Ann Staton was born October 7, 1943, in Benson, the daughter of Frank and Loretta (Kidrowski) Wrobleski. She was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic Faith in Benson. She attended school in Benson.
 January 13, 1962, Shirley was united in marriage to Raymond John Staton Sr. at St. Malachy Catholic Church in Clontarf, Minnesota. This union was blessed with five children. Together Ray and Shirley were able to share in over 46 years of marriage. They made their home in Benson. She worked at Howard’s Produce, Jennie-O, A & W, Fingerhut, Ben Franklin, Breen’s, as a home health aide, The Flower Basket, and she was a caregiver to many others in the Benson Community. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church family groups. She enjoyed and loved spending time with family and friends, having coffee, around her table or on her deck. Shirley liked cleaning, cooking, playing Sequence with the grand kids, caring for her flower garden and yard, and loved her word search games. She was called from this life Friday evening, November 18, 2022. She attained the age of 79 years, one month, and 11 days.
She is survived by her children: Ray (Cindy) Staton, Roger (Gigi) Staton, Rod (Kris) Staton, Rhonda (Rick) Flower, and Ryan (Angel) Staton, all of Benson; grandchildren:  Mitch (Kristi) Staton, Dalton (Samantha) Staton, Cody (Jennifer) Flower, Morgan Staton, and Caitlin Flower; great grandchildren: Kason, Krystal, Mason, Brooke, and Alli; siblings: Jerome (Ruby) Wrobleski, Donnie Wrobleski, Carol Thompson, Mick (Marlene) Wrobleski, Larry Wrobleski, Rick (Roxanne) Wrobleski and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. 
She is preceded in death by her husband: Ray in 2008; her parents: Frank and Loretta; grandson: Miles Staton; siblings: Frank Jr., Kenny, Jim, Marie, and Lynette; in laws, Janet Wrobleski, and Arden Thompson; a niece: Kayla Wrobleski and a nephew: Darcy Wrobleski.
