Timothy John Walsh, 65, of Glenwood, Minnesota died  Monday morning, November 28, 2022, at the University of Minnesota Fairview Medical Center, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 9, 2022, at St. Francis Catholic Church, followed by the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the St. Francis Catholic Cemetery. 
Timothy John Walsh was born July 31, 1957, in Benson, the son of Henry M. and Albie A. Payne Walsh. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Francis Catholic Church in Benson. Tim grew up on the family farm in Cashel Township, Swift County, graduated from Benson Senior High School in 1975 and attended Willmar Technical College for Diesel Mechanics.  
July 22, 1977, Timothy was united in marriage to Cindy Rode at St. Francis Catholic Church in Benson. 
Tim was born a farmer and was driven by his love of the land, the excitement of spring planting, and the pride of an amazing harvest. He enjoyed lunches in the field and having his family by his side, mentoring them so they can continue his legacy on the family farm with pride and joy. He planted food plots for the family to go hunting on in the fall. Seeing his grandchildren bag their big bucks made Tim’s heart very happy.  May he always be remembered as a very loving and proud father and grandpa. He was called from this life Monday, November 28, at the University of Minnesota Fairview Medical Center, in Minneapolis. He attained the age of 65 years, three months, and 28 days. 
He is survived by his wife Cindy; children: Stephanie (Justin) Wrobleski and Barry Walsh; two grandchildren:  Maddy and Zach, all of Benson; his siblings: Veronica “Vicky” (Tom) Traen of Benson, Robert (Mary) Walsh of Glenwood, Anthony (Vickie) Walsh of Minneapolis, Elizabeth “Lisa” (Eric) Peterson of Benson, and Daniel (Tanya) Walsh of Rochester; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. 
Tim is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Albie and his brother Gregory.
