Rudningen, Krieger, Wagner among KMS awardwinners


The KMS volleyball team finished the season with a 16-13 overall record, the second-most wins for the Saints volleyball program since 2008. MACCRAY won the Camden North title this season with an 8-3 record, followed by KMS (5-6), Prinsburg, RCW, and Dawson-Boyd (all 2-9), and Lac qui Parle Valley (1-10). Minneota, which won the Class A title this season, was 35-1 overall and 11-0 in the Camden South to win the title. They were followed by YME (10-1), Canby and Tracy Area (both 7-4), RTR (6-5), and Lakeview (5-6).
The Saints were consistent all season, never losing more than two matches in a row and never falling below .500 for their overall record. KMS went 2-2 to place fifth at the Browerville Tournament, went 3-2 to win the championship of its “pool” at the SMSU Tournament, and 3-2 to finish as the gold runners-up at the Underwood Tourney...
